Not usually. We qualify most emergency calls through a quick conversation about your situation and the cost of dispatch. Every once in a while, if what you're describing is hard to picture over the phone, we may ask you to text over a photo, but it's the exception rather than the rule.

It depends on the situation. During a widespread storm or other high-volume event, our first priority is removing the immediate hazard and making your property safe. Once the tree is off your home, driveway, or other critical area, we may need to move on to another urgent call. We’ll return for the remaining cleanup and debris removal as soon as possible, which may be a few days later during especially busy periods. For isolated emergencies, we can typically complete the cleanup during the initial visit.

There's no separate certification specific to emergency response. Every job, storm or otherwise, is handled by the same ISA Certified Arborists who care for your trees the rest of the year, so you're getting arborist-level judgment even in a crisis.

Permit requirements vary by municipality, and understanding what applies to your property is ultimately your responsibility. We're happy to talk through your specific situation when you call, but we'd recommend checking with your local building department if you have questions about permitting.

Widespread events are rare in our service area, but when they happen, we prioritize the calls with the most severe safety risk first, then work through the rest as quickly as we can. We'll always give you an honest estimate of timing rather than a number we can't back up, even when demand is high.
